The hotel with airy rooms, in a very quiet area, in beautiful surroundings. Not the cheapest one but fantastic value for money. What an attentive and affable staff! Substantial breakfast with plenty of brilliant foods.

Decent breakfast choices served fresh, with a touch of charm that you don't get at every spot. The cozy atmosphere of the old mill, giving off that rustic vibe you wouldn't expect from a standard hotel.
Rooms felt a bit tired and could definitely use a spruce-up. A fresh coat of paint wouldn't hurt. Shower space lacked a shelf or hook for toiletries. The reception setup is a bit odd-no one around when I arrived, just a note guiding me to my room. Basic furniture like only one chair for two people in Room Six wasn't ideal, especially for couples. The broken handrail at the stairs needs attention, as it's a small safety concern-definitely not what you want to deal with in a place meant for relaxation.

The room was spacious and elegantly decorated. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh ingredients and a warm atmosphere created by Julie's attentiveness.
The check-in process felt a bit disorganized and could use improvement.

We had a lovely stay with super comfy bedding and a hearty English breakfast that hit the spot. The garden was a perfect place to unwind with nice seating areas and beautiful views. The only downside was a bit of dust in the corners, but it didn't dampen our spirits—definitely worth a visit! 😊

Perfect get away
What a cozy spot! The room was super clean and comfy, and we loved the homemade breakfast. The lady cook was so friendly. Only hiccup was the tight shower space-def not for the big and tall! It was a fab stay with the beautiful countryside outside.

Central location for exploring Norfolk, historical character of the building, cozy, intimate dining experience
A simple sign on the road would prevent confusion upon arrival!!! Better temperature control in showers is a must to ensure safety!!!

Enjoyed visiting the nearby lake and the charming market town. The place had a cozy living area and a complimentary tea/coffee setup. Breakfast at the mill was a highlight, cooked to order and delicious. Just keep in mind, it's a bit basic but perfect for a fun getaway.
The only downside was the initial confusion finding reception. We almost left due to lack of info on check-in. A sign would help future guests settle in easier.

Yaxham mill is a lovely place, really clean and comfy. Paul, the host, was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazin, we had the full english which was cooked fresh and so tasty. The vibe is very chill and peaceful, perfect for a getaway. The location is great, surrounded by fields, perfect for a little stroll before brekkie.
The shower was a bit tricky to get right, be careful not to burn urself! Parking can be an issue since it's shared with the indian restaurant next door, so you might have trouble finding a spot sometimes.
